Selectable 5 Watts (high) or 1 Watt (low). Use full power for long-range comms and drop to low power for short-range channel management. Transmitter output meets AS/NZS 4365-2011 and AS/NZS 4295:2015.

Seven-Colour Backlight LCD

The screen colour can be set to reflect operating status. Assign different colours to channels or configure the display to change automatically when scanning or transmitting. Useful in low-light environments and for fast situational awareness.

Noise Reduction and Auto Volume Control

The noise reduction function works on both transmit and receive audio, cutting background interference on the channel. The included HM-244 speaker-microphone monitors ambient noise levels and adjusts its output volume automatically, so the person on the other end always hears you clearly.

Voice Recorder and Instant Playback

Store up to 10 messages of 30 seconds each, totalling 5 minutes of recording. Missed transmissions can be replayed on demand, without needing a second operator monitoring the channel.

Dynamic Group Scan

Uses CTCSS or DTCS tones to locate an open channel and maintain group communication. Scans at 80 channels per second. Five scan types available: Open, Group, Priority, Repeater and Dynamic Group.

256 Memory Channels

Up to 256 channels across 8 banks, covering all 80 CB channels plus 16 repeater channels. Voice guidance announces channel type and number. PC programmable via the optional CS-455 software (Windows only).

12V and 24V DC Compatible

Accepts 13.8V or 27.6V DC nominal. Works across the full range of vehicle types in a mixed fleet without any hardware changes.

IP54 Water and Dust Protection

Rated against dust ingress and water splashed from any direction. Operates in temperatures from -10 degrees C to +60 degrees C.
